Welcome to Ramco Primary School
Ramco Primary School is located in the Riverland of South Australia approximately
5km from Waikerie. It serves a community whose major income is from horticulture,
fruit, vegetables and wine grapes. It has very well-maintained grounds, a swimming
pool and play areas. Our school community values are respect, responsibility, resilience
and honesty.
Our values underpin what we do in our school and form the basis of our student wellbeing programs and practices. Our major curriculum foci are literacy and numeracy, and we
also have a music program nationally recognised for its excellence. Our classrooms are well-equipped and well-resourced, and we use Information and Communication Technology to link to other students and to widen our learning base.
Our students participate in school and network sports days, sporting carnivals, swimming, athletics and other sports. Our choir performs at music festivals and community events along with our music ensembles. We have strong community support for our programs
and a strong student voice through the SRC and class meetings.
